Як прати речі оброблені Hydrophob?

Оброблені речі можна прати у звичайному режимі, але кожне прання поступово послаблює гідрофобний шар. Рекомендуємо прати за потреби делікатним режимом без агресивної хімії, а після кількох прань — оновити покриття. Обробка не змінює колір, фактуру і повітропроникність матеріалу.

Якщо залишилися сліди від густого чи липкого бруду на обробленій поверхні?

How does Hydrophob work?

Hydrophob is a nano-coating based on silicon dioxide (SiO₂). Once applied, it penetrates the surface micro-pores and creates an invisible film with a hydrophobic effect: water gathers into beads and rolls off, taking dust and dirt with it. The surface stays clean longer and washing becomes easier and less frequent.

Hydrophob is a Ukrainian brand of protective nano-coatings. We make products for cars (9H/10H ceramics, detail sprays, activators), for shoes and clothing, and hydrophobisers for building materials. Every formula passes quality control, and the range keeps growing — from 40 ml bottles to 10 L canisters for car washes.

How do I apply the spray to a surface?

Clean and degrease the surface, then dry it. Shake the can, apply a small amount of product and spread it evenly. Wait 15 minutes and polish the surface thoroughly with a microfibre cloth until clear. Repeat the treatment to extend the coating's life. Keep the surface dry for the first hour and avoid washing with detergents for 3 days.

How do I wash items treated with Hydrophob?

Treated items can be washed as usual, but every wash gradually weakens the hydrophobic layer. Wash only when needed, on a delicate cycle without aggressive detergents, and renew the coating after a few washes. The treatment doesn't change the colour, texture or breathability of the material.

What if thick or sticky dirt leaves marks on the treated surface?

Remove thick or sticky dirt with a soft damp microfibre cloth, no pressure needed — the coating makes it easy because dirt can't bond with the surface. Avoid abrasive sponges and solvents: they can damage the protective layer. If a mark remains, rinse the area with water and neutral soap.

Does the hydrophobic coating have a smell?

During application the product has a light technical odour that completely fades within 1–2 hours after drying. The cured coating has no smell at all — neither on the body nor on clothes or shoes. For the car interior, try the FAD membrane air fresheners from our catalogue.
